Sadly this year Wendy and Helen were unable to attend the Neal Hannigan 5k Series Shield presentation to this years winner. It was with great pleasure I accepted the offer to say a few words and lead the presentation. 
As most of you are aware this is a club competition in memory of Neal one of our members who sadly passed away three years ago. Neal loved running the 5k distance and i had a number of close races with him, mostly with Neal winning. 
The series is based on the most improved runner over four races and this years winner with a race on race improvement is Deb Ching. Debs has had a brilliant year of running and her 5k times have dramatically improved.
Well done to Debs and thanks to Karen for organising along with Laura and Teresa for their timekeeping heroics and Andy B. for collating the results.
